After downloading LastPass, look for the LastPass icon in your toolbar. The extension is what powers LastPass in your browser and saves and fills in all your usernames and passwords for you. When you're logged in to the LastPass extension, you'll see icons on websites to help you save and fill passwords, generate new passwords, and more. Both the LastPass extension and the field icons give you access to the tools you need to manage your logins, fill your passwords, view your data, and secure your data.

Your LastPass master password, and the keys used to encrypt and decrypt user data, are never sent to LastPass’ servers, and are never accessible by LastPass. User data is encrypted and decrypted at the device level. Data stored in the vault is kept secret, even from LastPass. Two-factor (multifactor) authentication adds extra security to LastPass accounts by requiring a second login step before authorizing the user. LastPass implements AES-256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes to ensure complete security in the cloud.

All your passwords are synced between any device including phones, tablets, laptops, PCs and watches. When travelling you can safely install LastPass and get access to your passwords and then safely remove the extension leaving no trace.

LastPass makes it easy to securly store and fill-in passwords for all your websites.

LastPass stores all your passwords in a vault.

LastPass works on iPhones or Android phones to help you login on the go.
