We
put a great deal of thought into the content of our first newsletter
because we want to share with you the most up-to-date and useful
information available about the business of freelance consulting
and virtual teaming.
With this goal in mind, we not only contributed our own working
experience, we also pulled together knowledgeable tips and resource
material from leading writers and experts on virtual teams, business
development, marketing, communications and search engine optimization
- all of it relevant, timely, and here in one convenient newsletter.

We have
created a special area for members to exchange more tangible items
than their ideas and projects. The NewPath Marketplace will
feature items for sale or trade by our members. Tech items, equipment,
software, books, gadgets - whatever it is you are seeking or selling,
check out our Marketplace first. And don't overlook the NewPath
Calendar, which will also become a regular feature of our newsletter.
The calendar will keep you informed about upcoming events within
the NewPath sphere of interest.

NewPath has already welcomed
some incredibly high-calibre speakers to our monthly meetings in the past
and plans are in the works to welcome more guest speakers to share their
expertise on business excellence and freelance consulting over the coming
months. Our speaker at the May meeting was Carolyn Watt, President of The
Customer Experience Company. You will find an informative article by
Ruth-Anne Boyd, Business Development Director with the CEC in this
issue. We will continue to showcase articles by our esteemed guests in future
issues of the newsletter.
A final word - we would like
to thank everyone who helped with this inaugural edition of the NewPath
newsletter. We are especially grateful to those contributors who permitted
their articles to be reprinted for this occasion. We are thrilled that they
agreed to share their ideas with us and participate in this amazing forum
that is NewPath Consulting. At this time, we also want to extend an invitation
to potential contributors to submit article proposals for future newsletters.
